Tampa attorneys Jaide Beverly and Jessica West presented a CLE entitled "The New Normal - How Health Care Providers Can Manage Risk in a Post-Pandemic World." The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted existing risk areas, and added new risks, for the health care industry. In their course, Jaide and Jessica addressed how health care providers, with the help of their attorneys, can manage risk in a post-pandemic world. From issues related to technology, including telehealth and HIPAA, to changes in how providers enter into contracts with vendors and employees, they addressed important considerations that should not be overlooked. They also covered changes related to in-person care and issues related to mental health, as they relate to patients, providers, and health care employees.
