Mark D. Hildreth Panelist at ABI 17th Annual Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop

SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Mark D. Hildreth, Partner in the Sarasota office, was a panelist at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 17th Annual Southwest Bankruptcy Workshop and spoke about “Non-Bankruptcy Alternatives to Divesting Assets” to a program attended by over 300 bankruptcy and insolvency professionals.  He is a 20 year member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Mark works with his clients on matters including complex bankruptcy and workout situations as well as litigation involving foreclosure, stay relief, Chapter 11 reorganization issues, fraud, objections to discharge and claims of exemption.   Mark also represents Bankruptcy Trustees, and receivers, and handles cases involving assignments for the benefit of creditors.

In 1992, Mark was one of the first attorneys in the nation to receive Board Certification in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification.  The American Board of Certification's programs are designed to identify and recognize those attorneys in consumer or business bankruptcy who have met or exceeded rigorous certification standards relating to experience, continuing legal education, integrity, and peer review; in addition to demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of the law in their specialty area.  Mark is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
