CHARLOTTE, NC - Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Christian H. Staples of the Charlotte, North Carolina office, was named the Secretary/Treasurer by the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, effective July 1, 2013.  In this capacity he is a voting member of the Young Lawyers Division Council and helps coordinate efforts between the Young Lawyers Division and the Mecklenburg County Bar.  The Young Lawyers Divisions is open to all North Carolina Bar Association members who are under age 36 or are in their first three years of practice.  They are an open tent, regardless of race, gender, geography, employer, or practice.

Christian is an associate and member of the litigation practice area.  He received his J.D. from Campbell University and his B.A. from Wake Forest University.
