TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that H.S. “Brad” deBeaubien, associate in the Tampa office, has been named to the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association.  A goal of the Association is to develop and facilitate comradery and professionalism among bankruptcy practitioners in the Tampa Bay area.   Members are actively involved in a range of projects.  One project is designed to assist debtors that cannot afford attorney representation.  Another is working with the judiciary and the clerk's office to promote communication and meet the needs of all parties in the bankruptcy system.

Brad’s principal areas of practice are bankruptcy, insolvency and creditors' rights, commercial litigation, and employment and labor law.  Brad received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law in 2008, and his B.A. in Philosophy from The College of William and Mary in 2002.
