TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Ronald A. Christaldi, partner in the Tampa office, is the recipient of the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant and Research 2016 Light of Sight Award.  The Award is given to persons who have made significant impact in the work to help those who are blind or visually impaired.  Ron also chaired the Lions Eye Institute Eye Ball Gala which raises funds each year for ocular research.

Ron is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation.  Ron is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV^® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  He also has been recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in Florida by Super Lawyer magazine, selected Legal Elite by Florida Trend^® and has been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal with its prestigious “40 Under 40” award for professional accomplishments and community service.

Ron received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, his M.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University, and his B.A. from New College of Florida.
