SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Meghan O. Serrano, partner in the Sarasota office, was named Board Member of the Year by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County. The organization recognized outstanding board leadership, community-based partnerships, and exceptional staff at their Annual Celebration on October 5.

Meghan is certified in Business Litigation by The Florida Board of Legal Specialization and Education. She devotes her practice primarily to real property litigation, and has extensive experience representing lenders in title claims, foreclosures, deficiencies, workouts and REO matters; representing landlords regarding lease issues, tenant disputes and eviction actions; and representing investors with respect to acquisitions of defaulted loans and loan portfolios.

Meghan received her J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Boston College.
