Serrano received awards from the Sarasota County Bar Association (SCBA) for their leadership as Section Chairs. The SCBA Awards Committee recognized Adria as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and Meghan as Chair of the Appellate Practice Section for setting themselves apart through their hard work and achievement.
The SCBA is a voluntary organization of lawyers and judges who practice law and administer the judicial system in Sarasota County.
Adria is a persistent litigator and Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, who endeavors to bridge the gap between complex disputes and practical solutions. She focuses her practice on commercial and real estate law, as well as probate and trust disputes and guardianships. Companies and individuals alike look to her for her experience in contract negotiations, corporate disputes, dissolution actions, and collection enforcement and creditor rights. Additionally, Adria works with banks and other financial institutions on problem loans and special assets, and has extensive experience with all aspects of ORE/REO asset management and disposition.
Meghan is board certified in business litigation and she is considered an expert in her field, practicing in all phases of civil and business litigation, including performing and analyzing discovery; drafting motions; attending mediations, hearings, and motion sessions; conducting witness depositions; and preparing for trial and appellate proceedings. Meticulous and hardworking, Meghan regularly represents businesses, banks, and landlords in both state and federal court at the trial level and on appeal.
