Shumaker's Litigation and Community Associations Practice Groups Expand with Addition of Patrick S. Brathwaite

TAMPA, FL –  Highly respected and forward-thinking litigator, Patrick S. Brathwaite, joined Shumaker as an associate in the Litigation and Community Associations practice groups, bringing with him experience in state and federal court, including representing corporations, as well as small businesses and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters.

Patrick focuses his practice primarily in the areas of community associations, commercial litigation, and business disputes. He prides himself in his ability to provide actual answers to his clients' problems. Patrick takes a well-rounded approach that encompasses litigation strategy with his clients' business considerations.

Patrick graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as General Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law and as Vice-President of the Latino Law Students Association. Patrick also earned two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grades in Federal Courts, as well as Race and Criminal Law. Patrick regularly serves as a mentor to UF Law students. Although he is a double gator, having earned his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Florida, his proudest degree is his Associates Degree from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida.
