With over 15 years of experience working with global telecommunications companies and trade associations, Chris has established and cultivated key relationships in the Administration, Congress, federal agencies, and in state capitals. Seen as a fixture on Capitol Hill, clients lean heavily on Chris for his expertise navigating political and policy landscapes, resulting in successful outcomes.
Prior to joining Shumaker Advisors, Chris was the Founder of Salemme Strategies, LLC, where he provided strategic counseling to start-ups, trade associations, and corporations in the telecommunications and technology sector. Before forming Salemme Strategies, Chris served as Vice President of Strategic and Government Affairs for Airspan Networks, where he launched and directed their Washington, D.C. office.
In addition, Chris was a Senior Director at CTIA-The Wireless Association, where he helped lead the U.S. House and Senate Democratic portfolio. Chris' previous work includes time on the campaign trail as a Campaign Manager in Pennsylvania for the 2004 John Kerry Presidential Campaign and other supportive roles on Democratic campaigns and conventions.
Chris resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and two boys.
