"ABC's of Florida Construction Lien Law"

Brian R. Lambert, partner in the Tampa office, and Christopher Z. Staine, associate in the Sarasota office, were invited to speak to the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. They presented the "ABC's of Florida Construction Lien Law."

Mr. Lambert is Board Certified in Construction Law and devotes a substantial amount of his practice to all facets of construction. He has handled a wide variety of complex construction disputes involving project delays, schedule acceleration, construction defects and differing site conditions, as well as payment disputes concerning lien and bond claims. Mr. Lambert received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.

Mr. Staine is Board Certified in Construction Law. He focuses his practice on all aspects of construction law, including the review and preparation of construction contracts, advising clients on updates to the Florida Construction Lien Law, and construction litigation. Mr. Staine represents general and marine contractors, as well as commercial and residential real estate developers. Mr. Staine received his J.D., cum laude, from Michigan State University and his B.A. from Texas Christian University.
