"Dealing with Debtors: A Bankruptcy Primer for Trade Creditors"

H.S. "Brad" deBeaubien, associate in the Tampa office, spoke to a credit group with the National Association of Credit Management at the Sheraton Sand Key on February 17, 2011. Mr. deBeaubien's topic was "Dealing with Debtors: A Bankruptcy Primer for Trade Creditors." The National Association of Credit Management was founded in 1896 to promote good laws for sound credit, protect businesses against fraudulent debtors, improve the interchange of credit information, develop better credit practices and methods, and establish a code of ethics.

Mr. deBeaubien received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law in 2008, and his B.A. in Philosophy from The College of William and Mary in 2002. While in law school, Mr. deBeaubien was a member of the Florida State University Law Review and served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing. Prior to attending law school, Mr. deBeaubien taught middle and high school in Florida, Virginia and Switzerland.
