On May 29, 2014, Shumaker’s Columbus office hosted a CLE Seminar on Crisis Management for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (CO-ACC). The event was held at The Country Club at Muirfield Village during the first round of the Memorial Tournament. Attendees heard from a panel of in-house counsel, law professors and Shumaker attorneys on the issues of crisis management planning and execution, internal corporate investigations and various case studies. In-house counsel from many of Central Ohio’s largest employers attended the event, including American Electric Power, Honda, Nationwide, and ScottsMiracle-Gro. Lunch and tickets to the Memorial Tournament were provided to attendees.
