Todd Timmerman, Partner in the Tampa office, has been appointed Chair of the Tampa Bay Partnership’s CEO Direct program.  The CEO Direct program is one way the Tampa Bay Partnership develops regional leadership, ensuring area leaders are engaged and educated in critical regional economic development issues and that they are able to assist in fostering opportunities for regional collaboration and strategic thinking.

Mr. Timmerman is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and is certified as an Intellectual Property Law Specialist by The Florida Board of Legal Specialization and Education.  He practices in the intellectual property, corporate, and litigation practice areas and chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Law Department.  His practice spans a wide range of transactional and litigation matters for public, private, domestic, and international clients.  He maintains an extensive intellectual property and information technology law practice, focusing on trademark, copyright, and patent protection, intellectual property licensing, intellectual property, information technology, and other business transactions, and intellectual property litigation.  Mr. Timmerman received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1992, and his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1989.
