Timothy C. Garding Elected to Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy C. Garding, associate in the Tampa office, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts.  The Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts (“TBBCA”), founded in 1989, is a not-for-profit organization of businesses committed to supporting arts and culture.  The TBBCA educates and motivates bay area businesses and individuals for their support and continued development of arts and culture within the community.

Mr. Garding practices in the areas of healthcare, employment & labor, administrative/government law and commercial litigation.  He currently serves on the Events Committee of the Gasparilla International Film Festival and the Festival Liaison Committee of the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts.  In addition, Mr. Garding co-chairs the Backstage group at Stageworks Theatre and is a member of the Development Council of the Spring of Tampa Bay.

Mr. Garding received his J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. from University of Minnesota – Duluth.
