TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that William R. Swindle, partner in the Tampa office, has been named Co-Chair of the firm’s Tax and Employee Benefits Department.  Mr. Swindle is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in both Tax, and Wills, Trusts & Estates.  He has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning, probate administration and federal and state tax matters.

Mr. Swindle has authored numerous articles on tax and estate planning matters published in law reviews and in national and bar publications and is a frequent lecturer on tax and estate planning topics.  He also serves on the Editorial Board of Practical Tax Strategies magazine.

Mr. Swindle received his J.D., with honors, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, and his B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Florida Southern College.
