Ronald A. Christaldi Appointed to City of Tampa Economic Impact of Cultural Assets Committee

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Ronald A. Christaldi, partner in the Tampa office, has been elected to serve as chair of the Tampa City Council's Citizens Advisory Committee on the Economic Impact of Cultural Assets. Mr. Christaldi was appointed to the Advisory Committee by Councilman Mike Suarez. The Advisory Committee is intended to serve as a catalyst for recommendations to the Tampa City Council in its determination of municipal needs and planning in its consideration of facilitating and supporting the City's unique cultural assets and providing an environment conducive to economic growth.

Mr. Christaldi is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation. Mr. Christaldi is the Chair of the Health Care Practice group in the Tampa, Florida office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. Mr. Christaldi is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Florida by Florida Super Lawyers®. Mr. Christaldi has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America® and selected Florida Legal Elite© by Florida Trend. Mr. Christaldi is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, American Bar Association and The Hillsborough County Bar Association (Past Chair of the Health Law Section). He is also a member of Leadership Tampa (Class of 2003) and Tampa Connection (Class of 1998-1999). Mr. Christaldi is very active in the community where his work focuses on children, cultural issues and the environment. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Youth Environmental Services, Inc., as well as the Tampa Bay Business Committee for the Arts, and the Tampa Club.

Mr. Christaldi received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, his M.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University, and his B.A. from New College of the University of South Florida.
