TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce Brian W. Schaffnit, Of Counsel in the Tampa office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Tampa Bay Seminole Club. Each year, the Tampa Bay Seminole Club contributes to Florida State University by supporting Seminole Boosters, awarding scholarships to local students, and aiding the University with local programming.

Mr. Schaffnit has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide array of litigation matters including construction defects; professional negligence; legal malpractice; business disputes; consumer disputes; real estate disputes; condominium association disputes; homeowners association disputes; products liability; negligence; catastrophic injury; and wrongful death.

Mr. Schaffnit received his J.D. and B.A. from Florida State University.
