Ernie Marquart Appointed to Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation Board of Trustees

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Ernie Marquart, partner in the Tampa office, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation.  The full-service Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2012 and will be an 80-bed facility serving residents with a comprehensive line of health care services.

Mr. Marquart’s practice focuses on business litigation and he has extensive experience representing public and private corporations, partnerships, and individuals in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.  He also has represented clients before the American Arbitration Association, governmental agencies, and in administrative proceedings. Mr. Marquart has regularly represented clients in a variety of cases involving commercial contracts; construction projects; real estate, health care management, and franchise matters; securities and shareholder disputes; and transportation, environmental, and intellectual property issues. He also has substantial experience representing creditors in federal bankruptcy courts. 

Mr. Marquart received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1991 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University in 1986.
