Thomas P. Dillon Selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America

TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas P. Dillon has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is a trial lawyer honorary society. Membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American Bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership.

Mr. Dillon is the Co-Chairman of and a partner in the litigation practice group in the Toledo, Ohio office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. Mr. Dillon is also a member of the firm's Management Committee.

Mr. Dillon’s principal areas of practice include litigating business disputes and acting as outside general counsel for small and medium sized businesses. Mr. Dillon has extensive experience in representing individuals and business clients in commercial disputes involving business torts, unfair competition torts, covenants not to compete, theft of trade secrets, insurance coverage issues, breach of contract claims, real property disputes and tax disputes.

Mr. Dillon is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the commercial litigation law category and was named to the Ohio Super Lawyers® list in the business litigation law category. He is a recipient of the Toledo Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Area Law” recognition.
