TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Elena A. Kohn has joined the Tampa office as an associate in the healthcare department.

While in law school, Ms. Kohn was a member of the Stetson Moot Court Board and served for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida, and for the Honorable Thomas G. Wilson, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Kohn is the recipient of the Walter Mann award in recognition of having shown the greatest promise of becoming an outstanding leader in the legal profession. This award is only given to one graduating student each year.

Ms. Kohn received her J.D., cum laude, from the Stetson University College of Law and her B.A., with honors, from University College London.
