Michael M. Briley Appointed Secretary of Ohio State Bar Association Antitrust Law Section

TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael M. Briley, partner in the Toledo office has been appointed as the Secretary of the Antitrust Law Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, and has been re-appointed to another three-year term on the Board of Governors of the Antitrust Law Section.

Mr. Briley’s practice focuses on antitrust and trade regulation and transportation law. He has extensive experience in the areas of antitrust compliance and risk avoidance, mergers and acquisitions and litigation avoidance, as well as national and international transportation law issues.

Mr. Briley is a recipient of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law Community Service Award and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the antitrust law category.  Mr. Briley is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Briley received his J.D., cum laude, from the Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A., with distinction, from Miami University.
