TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Timothy C. Garding and Brian C. Willis, associates in the Tampa office, are among a small group of local professionals working to save Tampa Bay’s Friendship Trail Bridge, a pedestrian foot bridge that spans Tampa Bay between the cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg. Garding and Willis assisted with drafting a comprehensive plan to save the Friendship Trail Bridge, which will be formally presented to the Hillsborough County Commission on June 6, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. If the County Commission implements the proposed plan, the Friendship Trail Bridge would be converted into an iconic urban linear park and would reclaim its title as the longest pedestrian foot bridge in the world.
