Todd Timmerman, Managing Partner of the firm’s Tampa office, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Outback Bowl. Mr. Timmerman is also on the Board of Directors and Team Selection Committee of the Bowl. The Outback Bowl, a Southeastern Conference-Big Ten matchup played annually on New Year’s Day at Raymond James Stadium, celebrates its 26th year in Tampa.
Mr. Timmerman is a member of the firm’s national Management Committee and chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Law Practice Group. He is certified as an Intellectual Property Law Specialist by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education, and practices in the firm’s Intellectual Property Law, Corporate, and Litigation Practice Groups. His practice spans a wide range of transactional and litigation matters for the firm’s clients. He maintains an extensive intellectual property and information technology law practice, focusing on trademark, copyright, and patent protection and litigation, intellectual property licensing, and intellectual property, information technology, and other business transactions. Mr. Timmerman received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1992, and his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1989.
