Michael H. Robbins Appointed Vice-Chair of Corporations, Securities and Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael H. Robbins, partner in the Tampa office, has been appointed Vice-Chair of the Corporations, Securities and Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar.  Michael has served on this committee for over fifteen years.

Michael has substantial experience in representing business entities regarding general corporate matters. He regularly represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating contracts, organization of business entities and assisting clients with compliance with federal and state securities laws.  Michael received the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2008 Up & Comers Award and has also been recognized as a Florida Rising Star 2009-2012 by Super Lawyers® magazine.

Michael received his J.D. from University of Florida in 1996 and his B.A. from Duke University in 1993.
