TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy M. Hughes, partner in the Tampa office, has completed the Tampa Bay Partnership’s CEO Direct Program.  The CEO Direct program is one way the Tampa Bay Partnership develops regional leadership, ensuring area leaders are engaged and educated in critical regional economic development issues and that they are able to assist in fostering opportunities for regional collaboration and strategic thinking.

Tim has more than 14 years of experience in the areas of commercial real estate, land use, development and commercial leasing.  He represents buyers, sellers, investors, developers and lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions including land acquisition/disposition, due diligence, project finance and commercial leasing.  In addition, Tim has significant experience representing land owners and developers in all phases of commercial, residential and mixed-use development projects including obtaining governmental approval of various land use approvals, entitlements and permits in numerous jurisdictions throughout Florida.   

Tim received his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of South Florida.
