Rachel B. Goodman Presented to Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Rachel B. Goodman, associate in the Tampa office, spoke to the Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management on September 17, 2014.  Rachel’s topic was “Health Law 101: The Basics Your Doctors Need to Know to Protect Their License and Liberty.”

Rachel is a member of the firm’s health law practice group and her principal area of practice is health law, including regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, licensure and certification, and corporate transactional matters for a range of healthcare providers, including hospitals, physician groups, and physicians.  Rachel also advises on a variety of Florida health law issues including the developing medical marijuana law. 

Rachel received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University, College of Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Transylvania University.
