TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that W. Jan Pietruszka, partner in the Tampa office, was a panelist at the Association of Corporate Growth Breakfast Series “Navigating the Tricky Waters of HR & Employment Law” on November 9, 2014.

Jan’s practice includes defending corporations and management from claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, workplace torts, breaches of employment contract and unpaid wages. He has extensive experience in representing clients being investigated by the Department of Labor, the Department of Justice, the EEOC, the Florida Commission on Human Relations and the Unemployment Appeals Commission.  Jan received his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University in 1999 and his B.A. from Catholic University in 1996.
