CHARLOTTE, NC – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Christian H. Staples of the Charlotte office, was elected Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyers Division for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2015. 

The Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyers Division promotes collegiality among young lawyers through professional and social activities, serves the citizens of Mecklenburg County through community service projects and facilitates young lawyers' involvement in the Mecklenburg County Bar.

Christian’s practice includes all aspects of business litigation, commercial landlord/tenant law, products liability, corporate law, construction law, personal injury, administrative law, and appellate law, and he also has a growing practice serving clients in the food, beverage and hospitality industry. 

Christian received his J.D. from Campbell University and his B.A. from Wake Forest University.
