Michael H. Robbins Named General Counsel of the Florida Holocaust Museum

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael H. Robbins, partner in the Tampa Office, has been named General Counsel of the Florida Holocaust Museum.  The Florida Holocaust Museum honors the memory of millions of innocent men, women and children who suffered or died in the Holocaust.  The Museum is dedicated to teaching the members of all races and cultures the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides.

Michael has substantial experience in representing business entities regarding general corporate matters. He regularly represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating contracts, organization of business entities and assisting clients with compliance with federal and state securities laws.  In addition to such general corporate representation he has substantial experience in representing private equity and venture capital funds in connection with the legal aspects of their investments into issuers and in representing issuers raising capital from private equity and venture capital funds.  Michael received the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2008 Up & Comers Award and has also been recognized as a Florida Rising Star 2009-2011 by Super Lawyers® magazine.
