SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Sarasota attorney James S. Savalli will be moderating a symposium at Brooklyn Law School’s Feil Hall on June 15, 2016. The subject of the symposium, jointly hosted by the New York City Department of Design and Construction and Brooklyn Law School, is a policy report that James drafted on “means and method,” a prevalent, yet undefined term standard in form construction contracts.
James focuses his practice on commercial, construction, and real property litigation. James is also involved on the transactional side of construction, helping to prepare and negotiate contract documents on behalf of owners, designers, general contractors, and subcontractors. James received his J.D., and Certificate in Real Estate Law, from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.S., cum laude, in Building Construction, with a Minor in Business Administration, from the University of Florida. James is admitted to practice in New Jersey, and has Bar applications pending in D.C., Florida, and New York.
