Dave Slenn Spoke at the 2016 Tax & Estate Planning Forum

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Dave Slenn, partner in the Tampa office, spoke at the Tax and Estate Planning Forum on October 22, 2016 in San Diego, California.  Dave was a panelist covering the intersection between Trusts and Creditors’ Rights in State and Federal Court.

Dave concentrates his practice in tax, estate and business planning with an emphasis on risk mitigation.   Dave is the current Chair for the Captive Insurance Committee in the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA) and a past Chair for the Asset Protection Planning Committee in the Section of Real Property Trusts and Estate Law of the American Bar Association (ABA.)  Additionally, he was an ABA Advisor to the Uniform Law Commission Drafting Committee for the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act (formerly the “Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act.”).  Dave received his LL.M., Taxation, from the University of Washington School of Law, his J.D. from Capital University Law School and his B.S. from The Ohio State University.
