TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Tampa partner J. Todd Timmerman has been elected Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Outback Bowl for the 2017-18 season.

The Outback Bowl features teams from the Big Ten and Southeastern Conferences and will be celebrating its 32nd game on January 1, 2018 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Over its history the Bowl has brought more than a million out of market visitors to the region while creating an estimated $1 billion in economic impact and distributing over $136 million to universities.
Todd is certified as an Intellectual Property Law Specialist by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education and co-chairs the firm's Intellectual Property Law Practice Group. Todd is a business lawyer, specializing in intellectual property protection and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Todd's practice spans a wide range of intellectual property and technology-related litigation and transactional matters for the firm's clients. He maintains an extensive intellectual property law practice, specializing in intellectual property and technology counseling and litigation, assisting clients in crafting sound intellectual property protection and enforcement strategies so they may secure and maximize the value of their critical intellectual property assets.
