She has served as a senior executive in a publicly traded corporation with nationwide responsibilities, equipping her with a unique perspective on corporate strategy and operations. As the founder of a Houston-based boutique law firm, she established a practice specializing in helping foreign companies and high-net-worth individuals achieve success in the U.S. market. She is a sought-after national and international speaker, presenting cutting-edge insights on investment and immigration strategies to global audiences.
Wilka launched a global business and immigration consultancy with offices in Mexico City and Ho Chi Minh City, focused on facilitating cross-border opportunities for businesses and investors. Her expansive experience also includes:
- Holding a pivotal role as partner at an AMLaw 200 firm, where she established and led the firm's Immigration Practice Division
- A practice which spans state and federal litigation, labor and employment law, collective bargaining, mergers and acquisitions, and complex civil transactions
