Jason focuses his practice on advising board members and professional managers of condominium and homeowners’ associations, as well as providing practical guidance on the numerous rules and regulations that govern community association properties. As a member of the Litigation and Disputes Service Line, his experience encompasses several years of civil and administrative litigation regularly representing associations and individuals in collection and foreclosure cases, covenant enforcement, residential landlord-tenant litigation, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.
Prior to joining Shumaker, Jason began his career as an Assistant Attorney General in St. Petersburg, Florida, spending more than four years representing the Department of Revenue throughout the Tampa Bay area.
