Kathy is a paralegal in the Litigation and Disputes Service Line in the Toledo office of Shumaker. She has a strong background in civil litigation which includes medical malpractice defense (including 15 years working with defense counsel in nursing home litigation), wrongful death, asbestos litigation defense, and employment litigation defense.
Kathy also has experience in personal injury matters and probate estate administration. She regularly assists attorneys with drafting responses to discovery requests, witness interviews, background investigations, analyzing and summarizing documents and medical records, and communicating with clients, experts, and other professionals.
