An active attorney for over 20 years, Kristen brings critical insight to her role as Attorney Development Officer in Shumaker’s Ohio offices. She draws on her legal and recruiting experience to help ensure that new associates have a smooth transition into private practice.
Kristen’s primary focus is to guide associates as they develop into successful partners. She organizes and oversees training opportunities in all aspects of private practice, legal and non-legal, which include time management, seeking and accepting feedback, navigating business realties, and work-life balance. Additionally, Kristen fosters and maintains opportunities for associates to connect with their communities both within and outside of the firm
In her free time, Kristen loves to travel and spend time with her family.
