A senior paralegal with over 40 years of experience, Bridgette's extensive work in a broad range of legal disciplines, including eminent domain, probate, family law, corporate, and real estate, make her a valuable asset to the firm. She is a member of the Litigation & Disputes Service Line, where she focuses on bankruptcy law.
Bridgette decided to specialize in bankruptcy law to bring her well-rounded experience to the table on corporate and individual Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases (main/adversary). She has performed forensic accounting (i.e., fraudulent/preferential transfers) for bankruptcy trustee cases and handled Small Business Association loan defaults and bank creditors' rights for stay relief, proof of claim, and Moecker Auctions Assignment for Benefit of Creditors.
After beginning her legal career in New York, Bridgette moved to Florida and became actively involved in a number of professional organizations. She served on the Board of Directors and later as President of the Bankruptcy Legal Assistants Association, Southern District of Florida. Bridgette also taught a bankruptcy class for the National Association of Legal Assistants at the University of Miami campus.
When not at work, you can find Bridgette shopping, going to see a movie, or visiting her grandchildren and granddogs.
