TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Malinda R. Lugo and Liben Amedie have joined the Tampa office as Associates in the litigation department of the Tampa, Florida office.

Ms. Lugo joins us from Stephens, Lynn, Klein, et al., in Tampa, where she was involved in the defense of medical negligence cases on behalf of physicians, hospitals and health care providers.  Ms. Lugo received her J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University.

Mr. Amedie joins us from Akerman, Senterfitt in Tampa, where he was an associate in the litigation practice group representing clients in complex litigation.  Mr. Amedie received his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and his B.S. from Southern Polytechnic State University.
