TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Leadership Shumaker, a charitable program within the firm, has raised over $1,000.00 to support the Holt Fontana Village in Haiti.

Holt Fontana Village is an orphanage about an hour north of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  It is run by Holt International, a children’s services organization and a world leader in ethical international adoptions for over 50 years.  Established in 2004, Holt Fontana Village’s ongoing objective is to develop permanency plans in order to place each child with a family, either through reunification with their birth parents or through adoption.  In addition to providing shelter and care for orphaned or abandoned children, Holt helps families in Haiti by paying school fees, providing vocational training, economic support and parenting classes focused on hygiene and basic first aid.

Through the generosity of its members, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP continues to raise money for aid to Haiti.
