TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen A. Rothschild, partner in the Toledo, Ohio office, was a recipient of the Toledo Board of Jewish Education's (TBJE) "Ben Solomon Outstanding Trustee Award." The award presentation took place at the TBJE's 105th Annual Meeting & Cocktail Reception on Thursday, June 30, 2011.

Ben Solomon, z"l, was a lifelong supporter of Jewish education, whose philanthropic legacy includes the establishment of a generous fund to benefit Toledo Board of Jewish Education. The Solomon award was established by TBJE to honor Ben’s memory by recognizing a board member or parent volunteer who gives time and energy to benefit Stone Hebrew Academy or the Toledo Board of Jewish Education.

Mr. Rothschild is a partner in the litigation and trust and estate administration and estate planning practice groups. Mr. Rothschild has extensive experience in complex commercial disputes throughout the country and he counsels clients regarding trust and estate planning and related litigation.

Mr. Rothschild has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® and in Ohio Super Lawyers®. He is a recipient of the Toledo Business Journal's "Who's Who in Area Law" recognition and the 2002 Twenty Under Forty Leadership Award.
