TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Cathleen O’Dowd, partner in the Tampa office, spoke at the 90th Annual Convention of the Florida Association of Plumbing Heating & Cooling Contractors on July 22 and 23, 2011 in Orlando, Florida. Ms. O’Dowd’s topic was “Rules & Laws – Case Studies.”

Ms. O’Dowd’s practice includes the representation of professional licensees and regulated business entities before local and state regulatory agencies and the Division of Administrative Hearings. Industries and professions represented include: health care practitioners, pharmacists and pharmacy establishments, prescription drug wholesale establishments, pain management clinics, assisted living facilities, child day care centers, alcoholic beverage and food vendors, hotels and restaurants, construction, architecture, interior design, engineering, building officials, and real estate.

Ms. O’Dowd received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and her B.A. in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
