TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Timothy M. Hughes has joined its Tampa, Florida office as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.

Tim has more than 12 years of experience in the areas of commercial real estate, land use, development and commercial leasing.  He represents buyers, sellers, investors, developers and lenders in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions including land acquisition/disposition, due diligence, project finance and commercial leasing.  In addition, Mr. Hughes has significant experience representing land owners and developers in all phases of commercial, residential and mixed-use development projects including obtaining governmental approval of various land use approvals, entitlements and permits in numerous jurisdictions throughout Florida.

Mr. Hughes received his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of South Florida.
