Steven S. Grieco Elected to Board of Directors of Florida High School Hockey Association

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Steven S. Grieco, partner in the Tampa office, has been elected to the Board of Directors and as a Vice President of the Florida High School Hockey Association, Inc. (“FHSHA”), a not-for-profit Florida corporation dedicated to teaching and promoting ice hockey to high school aged youth.  The FHSHA operates the Lightning Conference which includes 20 teams in the greater Tampa Bay area with participants from seven counties in the region.  The FHSHA is one of only two high school ice hockey leagues in Florida sanctioned by the State of Florida and by USA Hockey.

Mr. Grieco’s principal areas of practice include corporate finance and banking, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets and securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters  Mr. Grieco regularly represents commercial lenders and corporate borrowers and issuers in a variety of corporate finance transactions, corporate clients in mergers and acquisition transactions, asset purchases and sales, other corporate transactions and corporate governance matters.  Prior to joining Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, Mr. Grieco practiced for 10 years in London and New York with Clifford Chance LLP and Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP focusing on international debt and equity offerings, structured finance, and leveraged finance transactions.  Mr. Grieco received his J.D., summa cum laude, and his M.B.A., with distinction, from State University of New York at Buffalo.  Mr. Grieco received his B.S. from Cornell University.
