TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce  Duane A. Daiker, Partner in the Tampa Office, presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel conference in Longboat Key, Florida a program entitled “Understanding Appellate Practice: What Corporate Counsel Should Know.”

Duane represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of appellate matters in state and federal court.  He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Appellate Practice Specialist, and leads the firm’s appellate practice group.  Duane also represents surety companies in connection with payment, performance, and fiduciary bond disputes throughout the State of Florida.

In addition to his full-time law practice, Duane serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College, teaching classes in law, legal research, and writing.

Duane received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Florida, and his B.A., with high honors, from the University of Florida.
