TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda B. Vandercook to the role of Director of Professional Development & Recruitment for the firm.  Ms. Vandercook is located in the Toledo, Ohio office and manages the firm’s lawyer recruitment functions, including the firm’s summer associate program, law school relations, and firm-wide professional development, training and retention initiatives.

Ms. Vandercook has over 20 years of healthcare experience – 12 of which were spent in physician recruitment, relations and medical education.  Most recently, Ms. Vandercook served as the Director of Physician Services for Lakeland Regional Health System in St. Joseph, Michigan.  Prior to joining Lakeland, Ms. Vandercook served as Regional Manager at ProMedica Health System.  A native of Toledo, Ms. Vandercook received her M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Findlay.
