TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Ronald A. Christaldi, Partner in the Tampa office, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors for the Tampa Club.  The Tampa Club is the premier private business, social and dining club, located in the heart of downtown Tampa.

Ron is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation.  He is the General Counsel to the Lions Eye Institute and to medical device manufacturer, Alps South.  He is the primary outside counsel for the Moffitt Cancer Center.  Ron is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV^® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  He also has been recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in Florida by Super Lawyer magazine, selected Legal Elite by Florida Trend^® and has been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal with its prestigious “40 Under 40” award for professional accomplishments and community service.

Ron serves as Chair-elect and is on the Executive Committee of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.  He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Youth Environmental Services, Inc., as well as the Friends of the Riverwalk, and The Spring of Tampa Bay.  He is a member of Leadership Tampa (Class of 2003) and Tampa Connection (Class of 1998-1999).

Ron received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, his M.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University, and his B.A. from New College of Florida.
