COLUMBUS, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Jamie Colner, partner in the Columbus office, has been appointed Treasurer of the Ohio Chapter of The American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”).  

ABOTA is an invitation-only organization. Elected members are some of the nation's most experienced and respected trial lawyers. All members must have a minimum of 10 civil jury trials as lead counsel before they are considered. ABOTA members (including judges) are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. First and foremost, ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to trial by jury.

Jaime is a partner in the litigation practice area and has extensive jury trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex tort and business cases.  Jamie is Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy – Civil Trial Advocate.
