TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick is pleased to announce that Nicolas A. Linares has been elected as a Director on the Board of the Toledo Estate Planning Council (“TEPC”) for a one-year term beginning November 1, 2019.  

TEPC is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide informed guidance and education in the creation, conservation, and distribution of estates; to increase public understanding of the need for competent estate planning; and to promote cooperation and foster a better understanding of the proper relationship among estate planning specialists from different disciplines. TEPC is a member of the National Association of Estate Planning and Councils (NAEPC).

Nic is an associate in the Trusts and Estates practice group. He focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, tax planning, guardianships, and elder law. He is a member of the Toledo Junior, Toledo, and Ohio State Bar Associations. 

Nic received his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law and his B.A. from The University of Toledo.
