RJ has been developing relationships in the legislative process for more than 15 years. Widely recognized for his impactful advocacy efforts and ability to support clients across various industries, RJ has expertise in policy areas, including, transportation, criminal justice, environment, and regulatory practices.

In order to best serve his clients, RJ regularly works with businesses and elected officials at all levels of government to garner strong relationships across the state and to help advance business community priorities and development. His clients, including nonprofit organizations and local governments, benefit from his deep connections that are necessary to advance policy priorities and secure funding for various projects via the legislative process

RJ’s legislative career began in the Executive Branch, working at the Agency for Workforce Innovation during the great recession, when unemployment was at its highest. He went on to work in the House of Representatives as a Legislative Aide, serving in this capacity for six years. In addition, RJ has years of cyclical campaign work with a track record of winning over two dozen races. This work has allowed him to forge meaningful relationships with elected officials and their staff throughout the state.

For the better part of a decade, RJ’s passion for serving his community has allowed him to work closely with cities and counties, coming to develop a strong understanding of the needs of local governments, their budgets, and their daily operations.
