TAMPA, FL – Malinda R. Lugo, Associate in the Tampa Office, was a presenter at the USF College of Nursing’s Law Day 2010 held March 4, 2010.  Ms. Lugo discussed legal issues facing Nurse Practitioners from a transactional and licensure standpoint.  She also was a co-presenter on how to avoid medical malpractice claims.

Ms. Lugo has extensive experience in insurance defense matters.  She has defended nursing homes, hospitals and physicians in negligence cases on behalf of insurance carriers.

Ms. Lugo received her J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University.
